One of those professors that you just don't forget. Took 2 classes with him, and would have taken more. Lectures are hard to follow, but gives you the questions for the midterm/final ahead of time. Many questions are repeated. Write the answers down, study them, you'll be fine. Few writing assigments, lots of insight and life experience. Take him.

kind of a boring class. You use the textbook a lot because he refers to the reading assignments read for homework. If you go to class and take notes then you will pass. It is not very interesting class but he curves the grades and you will pass if you take down good notes

Comment:

Very informative class. He presents both sides of every argument, very knowledgeable of course material, very helpful before and after class, lenient with late work. Don't be late to class unless you don't mind that he makes an example of you every time. Also cannot miss more than three classes. I definitely recommend this class.

Not the most enthusiastic professor ive had but knew the information fairly well, talks and refers to sports as examples to everything which got irritating. If you are in a small class he will pick on you constantly so read the material, no papers just midterm,final and 2 letters to the editors.

The class is awful and he makes it worse. However knowledgeable he may be about his subject, it is torture to listen to his lectures and it is even worse to take his exams. It was not my favorite course, but he is very willing to give you help on any topic you can think of. I recommend trying to find a different class with a different professor.

Very helpful professor. Stay after class and talk to him if there is a problem or question he is very understanding. 1 Paper a midterm and a final which he gives out a review a week before the exam. I would take this professor again.

This guy belongs in the boy's locker room, not in the front of a classroom. His class is so unstructured and unorganized, he just rambles on whatever he read in the newspaper or watched in the news before the class. His grading system is totally unconsistent. I'd totally avoid him, he'll kill your GPA.

Class isn't that bad. He rambles and calls on people randomly, so its best if you've read. Gives questions to test before exam. 2 papers & 2 tests. Papers are easy, test is easy too if you prepare, just be specific in your answers. This class really isn't that bad.

Ok professor, extremely difficult grader. Assigns a 4 page paper and expects you to do 4 or 5 drafts of it. The first couple he won't even grade because he wants them perfect. Tests are essay and are strictly graded, no hw but he is very particular about attendance and embarasses you if you come in late.

I've had him before, and he couldn't be easier. Sure his lecture are a bit boring but his cursing keeps you involved. His reviews (midterm & final) are handouts of the actual exam; he omits some for the exam. He knows his stuff. An overall good guy and fun class. One opinion paper as well, with attendance taken sporadically

This guy's class is a waste of time and it's hard if you want to fail this class go ahead and take this class. His lectures are boring and all the things he says in the class are not even in the mid-term or final I had to look it up my self on the internet, the worst professor in all of MSU.

An extremely easy class. Lectures are a total waste as he gives a review sheet with 10 of a possible 8 questions for the midterm and final. The man curses at least 4-5 times per class. His most common phrase is "You throw s**t on the wall and see if it sticks." A mildly entertaining class!

Hes a smart man but a HORRIBLE professor. Its an easy class but he doesn't teach AT ALL. He goes off topic the entire class, and doesn't listen to you for nothing. Extremely hard grader, he thinks everyone is going for their masters or doctrine, this was an undergrad class! AVOID HIM!

Fairly interesting guy and class. He does curse and repeat himself a lot, but that made class kind of funny. He is a little arrogant, and also I thought kind of full of it, and can be condescending. I know that sounds bad, but him and that class really aren't bad just not great.
