This has been hands down my favorite professor at Kingsborough. At first I did horrible in her class, I was nervous to perform in front of my fellow classmates. Nonetheless she provided feedback and by the end of the semester I was confident and well informed on what to do and what not to do. Thankful for professors like this.

If you want to learn how to administer first-aid and you want to be confident in the process of doing so, take this woman's class!You will leave this class more informed and educated than when you first started. She is very fair and helpful and smart. And she tries to teach as much as she can.

Day 1,2,3 = Rescue Breaths, CPR, Unconscious Choking, Conscious Choking. Day 1 is for adult, 2 for child, 3 for infant. P. Harris is a "perfectionist", THOROUGH, clear, professional, amicable. She wants the skills performed perfectly and teaches them with that in mind. The class was rewarding & wasn't easy. Im happy/thrilled I had her. I got an A.

She is a great, but tough teacher. She forthright and honest which makes her seem mean and unforgiving, but she gives you more than a second chance. Shes fair and if you try hard she makes note of it when she grades you. I'd recommend her, but only if you do the work and preparation. If you don't and you flake off she'll be your worst nightmare.

At first she seems like a tough lady, but she is professional about it and becomes more friendly. She gave me an A- when I deserved a B+. She said it was for good effort. I recommend you take her you will really learn alot. She explains things clearly.

I had Prof Harris way back in the 70's when she was actually a Phys Ed prof. She was a perfectionist then and can't imagine that she would change much now. If you want to learn then take her class! If you are just taking the class as an elective and don't care much for learning, then I suggest find another instructor!!
