Dr. Kane is my favorite teacher so far at UT. He had me looking forward to going to class and because of him I've picked up a minor in Philosophy. I took him on TTH and he let us out after only 50 minutes every time. The TAs grade most of the tests, but at the end of the semester he curves so that one TA doesn't end up harder than others.

One of the numerous stars at UT. I highly recommend his class. Issues discussed will impact you the rest of your life. If you don't take him you will have short-changed your college education. And you can take that to the bank!

He makes you think about things in new ways and it is interesting to listen to his lectures. But dont talk to the guy in person. He is a cocky jerk that will talk to you like you are nothing, and can shove his philsophy junk up his arse.

This class is pretty chanllenging and confusing but Dr. Kane is an awesome professor, he is very knowledgable and interested in the material he teach. All the test are essays but they are pretty decent and consist of 2 essay paper. Hes the best for Philosophy.
