Prof Keohan really wants someone to give him the time of day. He's the oldest professor on the campus, and he could talk forever. Half the time, you can get him stuck on a story for the majority of class, and it'll breeze by. Bonus points if you're on a sports team. Lots of papers with specific grading criteria but wants to pass you

He picks the worst times for classes. There were 4 people in my 2pm class. His assignments are very unclear & if you dare ask him a question, think again, unless you have 6 hours to spare. Grades based on grammar. He loves sports. He's ancient. His class is nothing but a nuisance. Weekly papers.

Although he's a very nice guy, his teaching methods are, to be blunt, worthless. Every class was a complete waste of time, largely consisting of him going into personal stories whenever anyone in the class said anything related. Content is -not- graded--grammar is--but he only corrects it, rather than focusing on it in class.

Does not teach anything. You could not attend the class at all and still be alright. One book review about a book not covered in class. Final is ridiculous. Guarantees all students will take more than 3 hours. Write as much as you can about the characters on the test. SPARKNOTES. Grades on grammar entirely for book review.

WOW, what a worthless class. He is such a sweet man, so friendly blahblah but regardless do NOT take a class with him...he grades his papers based on spelling erros and NOT context..so I would make sure not to miss a comma or spell anything wrong in order to get an A...ugh the worst

RETIRE. he summarizes the books in class, which seems sweet, but then tests you on really specific stuff. never engages with the class, just talks and talks. when someone in my class asked for help on the final, he told them to say a prayer.

By far the worst teacher I had at Merrimack College. Midterm and Final are extremely difficult. You have to read several books and play very close attention in a veyr boring class. A nice guy, just should not be teaching anymore. A complete waste of time overall.

When you start at the beginning of the semester you think this class is gonna be a breeze because all you do is sit there and listen to him read a book, but then when the midterm comes around the questions are so random and pointless you would have had to literally read the book cover to cover and taken SPECIFIC notes on characters, quotes, etc.

Coll. Writing was ok. He likes to ramble on for ever and ever about nonsense. His grading is rediculous. Dont really understand what he wants. Everything is hand written in class besides research papers. Do good on grammer, i dont think hes concerned with the content.
