I took all 4 qrtrs of Calculus with Bob, and I wish I could take more. Bob gives awesome lectures which he augments with clear drawings & breaks down tough, complex problems so you truly understand how everything works. I enjoyed his passion and excitement for math, which rubbed off on me. Bob is always there for you, if you are a serious student.

I am taking Bob's calculus 4 class next quarter, and I have been in his class since calculus 1. He is such a great professor. He lectures better then any professor I have taken. Although math is a dry subject, he is always able to catch me off gaurd with his humor.

He is a really good professor and there is not guessing with what he wants from you. He is extremely reasonable and understands that students have jobs and is willing to work with you. If you show you put the effort in he will be a very understanding teacher. I highly suggest him for any class. He will not let you down as a teacher

One of the best teachers I have ever had. He dumbs the material down for you so that you have a great understanding of the concepts. He genuinely cares about the students and is happy to help however he can. I am in Math 152 and still go to him for help on my homework. Very helpful! BEST!

He is a cute old little man. I appreciate him for all he has done. I changed to audit, was very unprepared, should've taking math 82 before math 91. He does great lectures and explaining. Also willing to help. I don't have a strong back ground in math. I've met a few people in class who are taking this class 2nd time around.

One of the best teachers I ever had! He gives excellent lectures, is always willing to ask questions, prompt feedback on exams, and is very enthusiastic about what he teaches. LOVE him!. Before taking his class, I hated algebra. But the way he explained things made it so much less complicated than math needs to be. If I had trouble understanding something, he would explain it until I understood. After taking math 81, 82, 141, and 142, I recommend him for anyone as long as they don't mind doing the homework.

If you ever get a chance to take his class, do it! Had him for the whole Calculus series and it was the best experience. Lectures are interesting, clear, exams are doable if you do work. Very old school but on the other hand he's funny and very helpful. I aspire to be like him someday since I'm planning to be a teacher as well.

Bob is an actor. He makes lectures fun and uses a lot of funny phrases, and also explains the material clearly. He is extremely helpful if you visit office hours, explains until you understand it. He is old school, so it's slightly difficult to communicate with him using modern habits. But he's easy to speak with, so nobody should have problems.
