Comment:

One of the best professors. Very interesting subject matter, and if you are truly interested in forensic psychology you will without a doubt enjoy going to class. Tests are MC + 1-3 short answers. Will not be disappointed.

Nice, smart man but older and slightly slower in teaching than other profs so sometimes (most of the time) it's boring to be in class good solid ppts posted before class, use textbook to clarify 4 tests with 15-35 mc and 1-3 short answer, amazing clear guide before test got 86 86 100 on the first three and barely go to class 5 experiment bonus

Interesting subject matter, but unfortunately we didn't get to cover it all due to how easily distracted Dr. Konopasky gets. Goes on long-winded tangents typically unrelated to the subject matter, then crams all of the relative material into 1 - 2 lectures before exams. Doesn't really explain the material, and tests are more on obscure details.

Do not take a class with him. Just don't. He does not follow the schedule on the syllabus and doesn't teach you anything. We learned more about his personal life then forensic psychology.

Very intellegent man! Really knows his stuff, gives great insights into different perspectives of cases. Read the book, and you should be fine to pass but I found going to his classes very beneficial not just for this class mark, but for opening my mind!

I spent the first 2 weeks of classes wondering when he was actually going to talk about the course content. I then decided to stop going. Read the textbook, go to the occasional class to avoid a guilty conscious and an A is pretty much guaranteed.

By far the worst proff i ever had! Although his class was pretty easy, his lectures were completely useless. He talked a lot about his family and his life and other irrelevant subjects instead of teaching the topics we were supposed to be learning. He seemed like a nice guy but i didn't learn anything from him and he was really boring and annoying.

This is my 4th class with Konopasky and it's really a love/hate relationship with this guy. Compared to my A's in his other 3 classes, forensics I am doing horribly in and he can't seem to figure out why everyone else is too. Average on first test was 50%, with plans to scale it. Does make an effort to stay on topic but still wanders.

Makes ridiculous jokes that nobody even realizes are jokes because they're so ridiculous. Annoying little snort laugh and talks about nothing related to the material. Thankfully, it's a great textbook and he gives super easy exams. Don't bother going to class, it's just a waste of time

Completely useless class. Everything comes right out of the book, theres no point going to class. He doesnt even make his own tests. He just takes them straight out of the book and then complains that the book doesnt come with enough questions. He is never in his office and he is extremely rude when you ask questions.

His teaching style is kind of offbeat but he explains things well. He doesn't intend to pick on or humiliate students but he might catch you off guard when he asks you an odd question in front of everyone. A lot of people found it entertaining. The course is pretty much a joke- 3 multiple choice tests taken right out of the book. So easy.

He's a good prof & really knows what he's talking about. Sometimes he seems to go off on a tangent, but will surprise you by making it relate to the topic at hand, & it's really marvelous how he teaches you that way - especially if you listen and actually think about what he's trying to get across.
