Kozma is such an amazing teacher. He's so interested in everyone's work and is curious to hear about what we have to make. He's also really clean with his instructions and is pretty flexible in class. Overall an amazing teacher! I still show him my work even though I'm not in his class anymore, he's still very interested!

I had Robert for Large Format I & II. He is a purist and a very skilled shooter as well as a printer. His class time is used wisely and the crits are very clear and cover a lot of ground. He is also very fair but you need to pull your weight and produce a decent amount of work. He is dedicated and you'll feel enriched at the end of the semest.

Comment:
Very detail-oriented, with specific assignments geared toward developing (no pun intended) your understanding of B&W film and the view camera. It's work intensive, and you'll have to repeat assignments if you're unsuccessful, but it's invaluable. He's very supportive and enthusiastic. The camera itself is usually not so supportive, and may bruise.

I had Robert Kozma as my professor over 10 years ago, I would not be half the artist I am today if it was not for what I had learned in his class. You Can not ask for any better teacher to get you throught the hard skills need in using a 4x5. Learn from this guy he has the skills to help you on the
