Amazing teacher and mentor. He is tough but so is this subject. Larsen really challenges you to rise to occasion. I never thought I would use this information everyday, but I actually do! Thank you, Larsen, for making this so relevant!

Comment:

Dr Larsen was not only informative, intelligent and well spoken but he was passionate about music. During my time at Simpson, Dr Larsen opened within me a more diverse appreciation for and love of music. I will forever be indebted to him for all he did to help me grow as a musician and as a person!

Don't get me wrong... Dr. Larsen is a brilliant man. Completely re imagines the opera stage and can visualize character,sound, presentation all in one lesson. Be advised: man is BRUTALLY HONEST.He will tell you if you suck, if your fat etc. If your not a suck up or the "star" of the music dept. you'll be looked over. Very political major & TOUGH.
