An add-on..... From what I know about him I don't think he enjoys teaching 100 level classes except maybe 121. You REALLY need to take him for a 300 level lecture like 320 where he can get into the nitty gritty of archaeological theory and strategy. He provides GREAT examples to back up answers to your questions and ties everything together well. One of my favorite professors. Remember, DO YOUR READING.

ALUMNUS REVIEW: I had him when he still had the ponytail in the 90s. Anyway, I think he's got a streak of Hunter Thompson which makes him entertaining, and he loves an audience. Do your reading, come with questions, and he'll give thorough answers! If you hear the class sigh, your question was too dumb. If you think he's a jerk, it's because he's zero BS. Remember though that he's on the students' level, you just have to tap into it.

Are you kidding me? This prof is the bomb. He explains things so well. Completely relates to students. Comes up with fantastic examples. And generally fun to be in class with. HIGHLY recommened.
