I attended 2 classes. I couldn't stand his socialist views and stopped attending. Instead of dropping the class I decided to just not attend. Somehow I received A D? Never took a rest or handed in an assignment. Guess socialism is good. Lol.

I had this Mr. Millar back in 2004. I had just returned from Iraq. This man spewed anti war rhetoric every class. He uses his classroom as a platform to push his socialist views on his students who must be there. 11 Years have passed and I still detest the fact that spent money only to listen to him talk about how he hates America and Capitalism

Although I got an A in this class. I was pretty disappointed I am a Psy major, and thought how cool Soc would be being that they are somewhat similar. Well, let's just say all I learned was from the book. If you really have an interest in Soc, take another professor.

He is very passionate about what he teaches. However, this class should be more about discussion. It is a sociology class and everyone should be allowed to have opinions. He rejects anything he disagrees with. He give s a lecture the entire class. His study guide is awful, and he expects you to remember too many people and their theories.

Mr. Millar will not stop until every one of his students adopts something between socialism and communism as the ultimate answer to our way of life. He spends the majority of class time talking about current events, making sure his opinion is voiced on the event, and essentially rejecting or mocking any opposing opinion. This class was unbearable.

This professor is strict when it comes to attendance however when it comes to studying for an exam, he gives you a study guide that is right to the point. If you look at his study guide and attend class, you will be fine. I got an A by just doing that.
