I signed up for the non majors section and he treated it like it was a majors class. You will get a review for the test, but hardly anything from the review will actually be on the tests. There are 4 tests and a final. The final replaces lowest test grade. Drops 2 labs and quizzes. I wouldn't take him again and wouldn't recommend taking him either.

worst teacher ever! there's a quiz everyday 11 questions you can only miss 2 in order to pass and if you're late 1 minute or absent you can't take the quiz there's no makeups. everyone failed the first exam. really hard class so make sure you understand Biology or you won't pass. I'm an AB student and I barely passed with a C 70.1

He is an understanding and very respectful professor. I would deff take him again, he tries to help his students in every way possible. He always wants feedback after every exam to learn how he can make better study guides. He is willing to work with every student so there is no reason to fail the class.

you will be required to buy two books. Lab book and regular lecture book. you only use the lab book so you can save money and not buy the other one. we did not open it at all. you take a quiz everyday. Be sure you choose your lab group wisely. Good teacher. Attendance is imperative.

He is just an AWESOME professor. At first he might seem boring, but if you really pay attention and take notes, you will get a B or even an A. He is great about giving extra oppertunities to help your grade. He is willing to come in early to even help you to see what is the best way to study or change your studying habits! He is just awesome!

Loved him!! I only got a B in the class because I didn't take our daily quizzes over the labs too seriously. You do need to study for the exams but he gives you points for finishing the review & he curves the grades. Very nice man , one of my fav professors here at lonestar

Prof. Miller is very helpful. He gives extra credit. explains throughly what he expects. provide handouts to help. I took him for 1301 and now 1302. I would definitely recommend him. Very nice guy.

Big rewards require effort. I personally think that he is a good professor. Iwas doing great(& I hate writing), but I got a B in his class because of a timed essay that I didn't finish, and one paper that I turned in late. Great person.

He gives a lot of work, and he is a hard grader. Almost every day quizzes, 2 major test, 5 essays, 2 research papers and 1 in class essay for finals. For a total of 8 essays. He is sometimes rude. If you are weak in English, then Do Not Take him! I earn myself a B. English 1302

Dr. Miller is a good teacher. Not sure why his ratings aren't higher. He is very smart and knows alot of things. You will become a better writer after his class. He and the work load seem intimidating the first day. But he is super helpful and nice. Try not to miss too many classes/labs because a lot of valuable information is explained and it helps you on your quizzes/tests. The exams are easy to get at least C's on as long as you pay attention and glance at your notes.

He's been a professor all his life, so he really knows his stuff. He gives chances, reminds you of upcoming dates, and also gives opportunities for extra points. Just make sure you do EVERYTHING to the best of your ability and make sure you're NEVER late, and you'll be fine.
