Takes attendance. Can't read his hand writing on the board. Gets his own problems wrong on the board often and just changes his answers. Tests are tough but gives good partial credit as long as you write out formulas. Don't take. He's like 70yrs old also

Minitab project worh %10 of grade. 3 tests x %30 = %100. Gives homework, collects all of it on the day of each test. Doesn't grade it, just marks it as done. Attendance counts. Goes fast, difficult to understand sometimes. Studied from book before exams, did fine. Almost dropped his class after the first class but I didn't and happy I did not.

Hes been there for like 100 years so you can imagine he knows a great deal of information that he teaches. Sometimes he explodes when he does problems and completes them without letting his students know whats going on. But good teacher overall, just old.

Comment:

Very nice man but can often be very difficult to understand. He wrote the book so that has many errors, and he often does problems incorrectly on the board and has to redo them. However, his tests are pretty easy and he will go over any question you have. He is still a good teacher, just makes many errors.

Absolutely the worst teach I have ever had. He cant even complete his own problem, let alone help us learn it. He wrote a great book but never refers to it except to assign homework. I'm extremely impressed with his knowledge but am baffled by his lack of explanation, and time spent on useless topics that don't pertain to the class.

Muksian is a great guy, but his class is ridiculous. He doesn't know what he's really doing, not one person in the class is sure what he is doing. Expects students to know how to program before entering the class, and is not helpful at all when you ask him a question. Great guy, horrible class .. DO NOT TAKE!!!

Comment:

Muksian is a good guy and wants students to succeed. If you study the material from the book before each test you can get an A pretty easily. Don't understand what these other people are talking about. Only downside is he screws up his own problems sometimes, but everything is clear in the book so just use that.

He types an entire project of coding that you copy then he expects you to know what all this coding means and use it as your textbook for exams! He's a smart man and knows his stuff but is horrible at conveying his knowledge to others. If you ask him a question he won't make it any more clear either.

There is nothing positive I can say about this man. He does not know what he is doing and teaches us outdated material. This is the only class I ever had at Bryant where I can confidently say I did not learn a single thing. He does not explain what he is doing, throws numbers up on the board and never looks at the class. Rude when you ask questions

Although Prof. Muksian is not exactly a stimulating teacher, he is extremely knowledgable (search for him on Dateline NBC). His course is very easy for anybody that puts in 25 minutes a day to finish the few H/W assignments he has. Tests are simple, and you can use the formulas in the book.

Not exactly the most stimulating teacher but you will learn many useful things. Lets you use formulas in textbook on exams, but make sure you are familiar with them. If you keep up with the homework you'll be absolutely fine.

while he is a really nice grampa kinda man, he is a horrible teacher. hes willing to help but you wont do better on the tests. he lets you use formulas from the book but its impossible to tell which ones are required in each problem! he confuses himself in class and is a complete bore. don't take him!

He uses his own book and software that makes less sense than he does. He uses a lot of class time to review material not on exams. The class consists of copying notes on the board, erasing them and then continuing. He is willing to answer questions but rarely clears up confusion.

VERY confusing.. he even had to print us out a sheet of all the mistakes he made in the book. He messes up on problems in class and can't figure out how to fix it. Probably would be an easy class if he wasn't the professor
