If you want an A, just know that it does not matter how much effort you put in. I worked harder in his class than I do in my science classes, but no dice. He gives Bs and B+s at highest. It was so frustrating. Save yourself the stress and take a more reasonable professor for faith and critical REASONING.

This class isn't an easy A, but he really is a good theology professor and he knows what he's talking about, so you will learn a lot. He uses the socratic method to teach and it's intimidating at first but you will get over it. Really wasn't too much work, just 4 quizzes, weekly reading assignments, and 2 major papers. PARTICIPATE!

Things to know: -His grading is really annoying and nitpicky -He comes across as very full of himself; apparently some people love him, but this got under my skin -The class is actually pretty interesting; some of it can be a little abstract, but for an 8:30 class, I was surprisingly engaged -Decent amount of reading, but they're not so bad

I would absolutely take this class again. Parmach cares about all of his students individually. If you're willing to put in effort and participate in the class, he will do his best to help you succeed. One of my favorite professors at Fordham

Prof. Parmach is a good man who really has a passion for Philosophy and for teaching. As a teacher, though, he is arrogant and is a tough grader, often an unreasonable one as a result. I would categorize this class as an "easy B+" because Parmach rarely gives A's. HIs lectures are often useless but he does an ok job making them interesting.

Ok- Here's the deal. He is a decent Professor, his lectures are interesting for the most part. You'll have light homework for a while and then you'll just get slammed with a 55 page highly conceptual reading out of NO WHERE. Getting an A seems impossible and his grading (he uses only one number key) is really annoying. Light work, hard grader.

I took Dr. Parmach as part of my Manresa course. He is a tough grader and the class isn't easy but it will definitely make you a better student. He is entertaining and is always available for help. The readings are difficult. He assigns 2 5-page papers, gives a few quizzes and lots of little (1 page) writing assignments and makes you go to programs

I had Dean Parmach for my Philosophy of Human Nature Manresa course. He is a very nice guy and knows a lot about philosophy, but I found his lectures difficult to follow, and often off track. His class is really easy, it's just a little bit of reading combined with 2 6 page papers for the semester.

Dr. Parmach is a great dean and a terrible teacher. More than half the readings he assigns he wrote himself, and they all reference his 7 year old nephew. Also, expect no comments on your paper and midterm, just a "C+"

Dr. Parmach is an incredible teacher. His lectures are engaging and enlightening, and you will learn a lot from this course no matter what your faith. The coursework consists of readings, several one page papers, a major 5 page paper, and a midterm and final. His class is difficult, but it is definitely worth it.

Business Ethics. Great teacher and really smart and helpful. This class helped me with writing essays. You have the option to rewrite assignment and get 1 letter grade higher. Not a great slacker course, but with a little work a B is not out of the cards. I imagine there are far worse professors you could have.

Very interesting class. The amount of work you put in dictates your grade. Nice guy, intriguing class. He is extremely smart with a wide vocab so be prepared. I suggest taking this course, not for the easy A but because it is stimulating and always a plus to get on the deans good side.

Dean Parmach is a great professor. He's engaging and really knows what he's talking about. Sure, he's intimidating at the beginning, but extremely helpful inside and out of class. The class is more philosophy based than other Business Ethics classes but not overly so. A few essays (you can revise) and an in class midterm/final(both essay based).

I took his business ethics class an that was my favorite class out of of 4 other classes. He's real cool and has interesting insight. He seems a bit intimidating at first but that's only because he doesn't want you to slack off. You'll have to write summary articles on the summary chapters but they're only 2 pages and he gives you a chance to rewri

Won't let you slack, but is always very fair and clear about his expectations. If you don't do well, it's entirely on you. He'll do everything he reasonably can to help you along. Oh! He has a big pet peeve about cellphones, so make sure yours is off.

Absolutely a Fantastic teacher, though if you show up to class without doing the reading, he will break you with his brutal discussion questions. Makes Philosophy interesting and fascinating even at 8:30 in the morning. Also very tolerant of all student choices of attire, including bathrobes and gorilla suits.
