Awesome professor. His lectures are intellectually stimulating despite the boring readings. One of the easiest classes I've taken at Loyola. Class consists of about 10 reaction papers to readings and two exams, plus participation. I didn't do the readings at all for the second half of the semester and still got an 98 on the TAKE HOME final.

He is the best prof I've ever had. He explains everything in great detail after you read it and makes sure everyone understands it before he moves on. It's important to do the readings because more then half your grade is based on 1 page reaction papers, but they are very easy and he will help you if you don't understand the material. TAKE HIM!

I want to dress like him when I grow up. Those suspenders get me every time. Aside from that, sweet man, patient, a bit eccentric, very entertaining in a "I just wannt give him a hug" sort of way. Midterm and Final are easy if you pay attention/do the readings. Reading are appropriate but boring. 70% of grade is from 1-page response papers. EASY.

Best teacher I've had at LUC. Cares about his students and wants them to do well. Finds interesting ways to relate the material to common life experiences and is very disarming as a professor. Take him, go to class and participate and you will do well.
