Comment:
This class should have and could have been really interesting. However, when the professor only showed up to about 50% of the scheduled lectures during the semester, it kind of killed the class, especially when he would test us on specific video clips he was supposed to show us in the classes that he missed.

sociology of small groups. class was really fun and easy we all thought we would get A's but clearly didn't. the take home test was ridiculously hard, even using the textbook. nice guy but completely an unfair grader because you have NO IDEA what he wants. not an easy A, kind of annoying.

He is terrible! His teaching 'method' is crap. He missed more classes than I thought possible, which is bad if you're paying tuition. His tests weren't that easy. His TA is stupid! Rosenwein is unreliable and should be fired.

Leave your brain at the door. Dr. Bob tries to simplify everything in class then asks you in depth questions on the test. He tries to make class interesting by showing us episodes of Roseanne and other stupid TV shows and movies, but I fell asleep in 60% of his classes.

Dr. Bob is a sweet old man who hasn't lost his energy. He is very easy. He uses music videos, commercials, movies and TV shows all the time in class to make his points. I would take any class he teaches. I highly recommend Dr. Bob!!

I love Prof Rosenwien's human comm class- he makes class interesting and enjoyable. attendance isn't mandatory but he gives "pop quizzes" (which are your opinion) to keep light tabs on who's showing up. His tests are very easy and he preps you well for them. I wish he was teaching more than 2 classes next semester so I could stick with him!

I've had him for 3 classes and he's an incredibly nice and kind man. He cares for the students and is the very reason why I pursued Sociology. He has been sick and also had a lot of family issues going on so it is difficult for him to come to class, but he is still so caring and interesting. I really love him and he's one of my favorite profs.

Terrible! He is so hard to contact outside of class and so unreliable. If he showed up to class, he was late. He shouldn't be teaching anymore.

Go to the lectures, and then you'll do well. Fascinating subject, fun clear demonstrations. Makes all the important points in the lectures. You'd have to be asleep to not get it.

he's easy if you know how to prepare - memorize all key terms, he's big on id questions. get the notes. no need to go to class. uses the readings as extra credit.

He probably used to be a good professor and he is nice, but he is unable to teach now. If he shows up to class he is usually late. His assignments and tests are unclear.

great guy. tests are tougher than expected. worth going to class, he always has something interesting prepared. make sure you read required readings outside of the textbook, they will appear on the tests.

Kind of neutral but it wasn't my favorite. If you do the reading it's pretty easy to get an A.

Wonderful guy and class...only the second class I've had here I actually looked forward to. He's only missed all these classes b/c he's sick -- talk to people who have had him before and they'll tell you he usually showed up.

Dr. Bob is an awesome guy, very funny and interesting. A nice change from a lot of professors. You have to do your reading of the book to do well on the exams...but if you do it is pretty easy to get an A. I recommend him!
