Had him as a lab and course coordinator for BIOL 102 and 103. His door was always open and he was very available for extra help, which was necessary due to the vagueness of the labs in these courses. Very friendly and approachable!

Created a useless lab section for bio 102. No one has learned anything at all, and class averages are in the low fifties. Punishes students for not following rules they were never informed of. Useless lab, useless prof. I want whatever money I paid for this course back.

Gotta admit I took this as a bird course to balance out my schedule, and while the material was mostly a rehash of high school stuff, Rob made it really fun. He was an engaging speaker and made things personal and relatable. I think the reason everyone in the class moaned about the course was cause it was so bloody EARLY

Lab coordinator: he was vaguely helpful, but he tends to speak quite low. I didn't get the feeling he was especially enamored with his role as lab coordinator. Because of this I don't think any of us were especially enamored with having him as the lab coordinator

Lab Coordinator. I tried asking him for advice on a lab report - not really helpful. You have to wait for a long time until he's available to talk to, and then he provides a very vague explanation. Sounds like he's talking to himself sometimes...

I had him for BIO 11O, and I found he made the course really easy, probably b/c he thought we were idiots. But alot of my friends had him for BIO 103 and I didn't hear the greatest things. He's boring too. I guess it depend what class you have him for.

Not enthusiastic about teaching. Is quiet and introverted, and upon closer inspection seems to be friendly, but is not a people person at all and has no fire in his teaching. Very conscientious and diligent about answering questions, though.

Course coordinator, not professor. Not particularly friendly, no expressed concern for students whatsoever. Very hard marking on labs, quite ridiculous actually. However, the WebCT resources provided by him were excellent.
