Always showed up late, ten minute breaks became half hour, went off on rants for entire classes at times. Wasted so much time that he gave a final on everything he was supposed to teach us but didn't have time to. (Literally no one in the class could do the exam and repeatedly told him we never went over any of it.)

Not the best professor out there, but CP with him is very A'able. Might not learn much from his lectures (which can be long and boring), but must try to do and finish weekly in-class lab assignments by yourself (with professor's help) and you will learn everything that way. Lab Assignments can be hard (2 or 3 per semester) but he will help if ask.

Such a nice guy but a terrible professor. The whole class is so disorganized, he doesn't upload assignments and labs like he says he will. Open note tests but that's because you learn jack in class. He forgot to give us the practice final so we couldn't study, ended up posting it on the day of the final. DONT TAKE CLASSES WITH THIS GUY.

He's a very confusing professor. Without a background in this subject I would not recommend taking his class. He'll ramble, attend class late and often lose track of time leaving less time for working and inquiry. Great personality and he does allow notes for tests, but I never got that comfortable feeling of learning anything.

I will not recommend students to take CP2 with this professor. He doesn't upload the examples or homework sheets to blackboard quickly (he just forgets) and he is confusing sometimes. I don't think he went to the class prepared. Most of the time he would tell the class stories about him for about 30 minutes.

He is totally into coding languages and funny at times. He allows you to use your notes and textbook because he WANTS you to learn, not just memorize stuff. Other places the teacher would let you give up easy, but he rather give you a shot to learn and do well and feel positive about the field of Comp Sci.

If you like Youtube tutorials then this is the class for you because that's the only way you're going to learn anything with Sciabbarrasi at the helm. Had him for CP2. All reviews say he's a great guy but that has nothing to do with teaching. Cool guy? Sure. Good teacher? Absolutely not. Talks to himself more than the class.

I had him for computer programming 1 & 2. It's hard to complain when I got an A in his classes, but he really doesn't know how to teach. Half the time you have no idea what he's babbling about. He's "cool" and "grades easy" but you end up learning nothing in his class. If you really care about learning something then avoid!

Very nice professor, but drifts sometimes. Very easy grader, and you will not fail, as long as you try. You will have to learn the material on your own at times, as his methods of teaching are hard to absorb, but he will answer any questions you have and take as long as it takes for you to understand a topic. I have taken 5 classes with him.

Maybe it is just me, but sometimes when taking notes it *feels* like out of nowhere the pace of his lecturing speeds up - which can throw you off sometimes. Aside from that, and the occasional tangent turning tendency, he is great - explains things well, clarifies when needed, and is always there for help when a student needs it.
