Humorous but serious about his material. He expects you to show up for class and indeed if you want to do well in his exams you should. Otherwise, his exams aren't particularly hard. Maybe because I only took a 110 course. Jim has a great personality, is extremely reasonable and if hilarious. Makes you get passed a bad day, if you are having one.
