Only grades are exams. Really old school guy; lecture, take exam, lecture, etc. Class was probably easier than 221. Practice exams are helpful. Although, sometimes it seems on the real exams there are three right answers on multiple choice. Really nice guy but often rather boring lecturing and would get fixated on minute topics.

The only things you're graded on is exams. This is nice because there's no homework and not much work is needed outside of class. He honestly made me enjoy macro. Relates it to the real world and discusses important things that affect us. The exams are difficult, but he makes sure you attend the review and his exams are VERY similar to the practice

He's super nice overall and i really respect him, but the entire course is very lecture heavy and not specific at all. The exams are really difficult, but the upside is he curves them so the entire class doesn't fail. The slideshows are provided to students, but don't help much, and it's hard to tell what info in class is important or off topic.

I have always had a interest in economics, and taking this course made it even more enjoyable. He is a really great guy and is fun to have in class. Every day you take notes so make sure you can write well. He is a VERY hard grader, but if you study and pay attention you will do well.

Great professor, clear lectures and goes at a good pace. Do the practice tests the tests are very similar! He is also great about test review sessions and will plan so that every student can have the chance to attend one. Those are also extremely helpful. You don't need the textbook he covers everything well in class and review sessions.

I came into this class knowing very little about economics and left knowing less. I have never been more confused in my life. The whirlwind of terms and graphs Mr. Scott throws and his students is unbearable. I am currently seeking help for the mental scars Mr. Scott left on me. He assumes everyone is an economist and is impossible to follow.

He really wants his students to do well. The grade is based on 4 tests only. You MUST go to the review sessions for the tests, read the text, go to class, and take good notes to do well. He is a very entertaining professor and explains the material clearly. Also, he curves the tests. This class did not take up too much time. I would take him again.

The grade is based on 3 tests and that is all. He gives you questions extremely close to the test questions and has review sessions to go over the sample questions. If you go to the review sessions and understand all of the problems the tests are easy. Just don't miss the review sessions!

Interesting class, but you must work to get an A. Go to his review sessions. His review problems very closely reflect what is on the tests, so focus on understanding them. Nice and helpful prof....would probably do better teaching grad level econ. though.

This guy makes it a point to make the tests extremely difficult. I took him for a managerial econ class and it was by far the most difficult class i had taken in college. He doesnt follow the book either. DOnt take him.

Great professor with a strong background in mathematics. 332 is an easy class though. He will tell you what's on the tests in his review sessions. I missed those and still got a B. He explains it until you get it: can't ask for more than that.

This guy knows his stuff but can be confusing as the class is a theory class. Be ready for loads of derivatives that you will not need to know for the class. Great guy, helpful reminds me of Jack Nicholson. Take if you can't get into anything else.

Very nice guy. If you need anything you will take time and explain to things to you. If you do poorly in the beginning, but show great improvement he will ignore your first test score. Great Guy even a little funny, for a econ prof

It is hard to find a professor that can make economics fun. Dr. Scott can. Best line of the semester was during the last section when he said that no one in the world had ever been taught the following material, because he just recently formulated and proved the theories behind it.

He looks like Santa Clause without the Beard. Nice guy curves the test and will anser any questions if you go to him. He is funny and understanding. However, you do need to like and understand the basics of Economics for his class.
