If you have taken any HR classes prior to Steel's, then you have already taken his class. He taught the exact same lecture as your intro HR class. Never learned anything new is his class, a waste of time and money. Yes, it is an easy A. He is slow, boring, over simplifies things (makes it seem like he is talking down to you). HORRIBLE PROFESSOR!

BORING, BORING, BORING!! Nevertheless, he is really nice. Class work is very straight forward. Tests are borderline hard but if you pay attention to PP slides and take good notes, you'll be fine. Overall, the class wasn't that hard. Just take an energy drink BEFORE class. HRM 305

Fantastic professor and class. He puts a lot of effort into teaching and understands what students want. Found him interesting and nice. Pay attention, do the work, and you should be fine. One of my favorite profs/classes in my college career.

Horrible professor. Rude to students who ask questions. References his own work all the time. I want to learn about the subject matter, not get a survey of Bob Steel's career. Exams are nothing but trivia. He'll use a sidebar from some page from a PDF handout as a reference for the exams. Horrible! DON'T TAKE STEEL!!!

WORST prof ever! Completely unorganized, heavy on esoteric theory, combative with students who dare to ask him questions. Workload is pretty high - perhaps the school read how little he used to assign here & that has definitely changed now. Exams are subjective (so is your class standing)... good luck figuring out what you need to study!

One of the worst classes I've ever taken. Lectures are boring and pointless. Thankfully he doesn't take attendence, so just show up for the 3 tests! Easy grader: 3 tests @ 25%, 1 paper @ 25%. Boring, boring, boring! Ugh! Glad to be out of there!
