Comment:

One of the worst professors I've had. He forces participation (even when it's not graded) and doesn't explain assignments well at all. The lectures are long and boring - if you can avoid it, don't take his classes.

If you read, you will succeed! As a non-labour studies student I found this class really interesting, and he is really knowledgeable on all of the course content. But, believe him when he says do the readings!!!!!!!!!

Totally honest review: If you don't do the readings, you will do absolutely terrible in this class. Mid-term was very difficult (class average of 55%). Lectures have some interest, but are very content heavy and you need to pay keen attention. AGAIN, I repeat myself, DO THE READINGS!!!!!

Storey is a tough but fair professor. Everyone in my class comlpained that his midterm was too hard but thats because no one studied!..this is university people if you did the readings and went to lecture you would have been fine!...The class was extremely interesting and informative! Loved it!!!!

I've had Robert in both undergraduate and graduate courses, and I have to say that my opinion of him totally changed. He's challenging but also very helpful and approachable. Show him respect (do the readings! Come to class!) and you will get the same back from him. He's a great professor.

What a great Prof... very interesting and insightful. He challenges people to think much more than any other prof I've had. In opposition to others, I don't think that Storey is pretentious at all... maybe just a tad frustrated with people who don't engage themselves in the literature.
