This was his first semester teaching in a while and it was such a treat to have him class. He's sweet, caring, and so knowledgeable. I looked forward to listening to him talk. Lectures were often given by groups presenting chapters. I wished he lectured more because he taught in such a practical manner focused on real world application. Take him!

Great Prof. Extremely helpful. His Sunday review sessions were very beneficial. He was more than fair. He laid out the exam content prior to the exam and his grading policy was very reasonable. Exams tested the material. There were no "free lunches", but I would definitely take another class with him.

He was available if you had questions regarding the material but sometimes his explaination of the material was lacking and, if you're not good with numbers, very confusing. It also doesn't help that his final featured material that we never discussed during our review for it.

Very tough class, but he is ALWAYS available in some way to help (email, office hours, etc), and has study sessions on the weekends before exams. Very good teacher for a very tough class.

Good teacher, Enjoyable, funny! He has study session on the weekend before test which I would advise to go to because he goes into more detail there than he does in class! He lets you have a cheat sheet for the test, 81/2-11 front and back! So you do not have to memorize much! :)

Excellent prof. Provides examples that appear on the exams. Very helpful if you go to him for help. Be sure to review everything before exams. If he went over it in class it will appear on the exam. Finance is hard but he makes it understandable and is willing to help.

Worst class ever.I hated this class so much. Sweeney makes really stupid jokes and most of the questions on the study guides aren't even on the test, and if they are, they are worded so differently that you aren't sure what he's even asking for. My advice is NEVER take a 3 1/2 hr. finance class.
