One of a kind teacher. Good sense of humor. He's really knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Tests are not real easy, but if you read the book and take good notes you should do fine. One of the 2 or 3 best professors at this school. He doesn't use POWERpoint, which puts me to sleep!

An amazing lecturer. He finds ways to make even the more boring sections of history interesting. Exams and quizzes are all based on his lectures, not so much the books. It's not a particularly difficult class if you can manage to pay attention. No homework is also a plus. You probably won't need a book for this class.

Every once in a while, you get a professor who you're not likely to forget. Dr. S. is is one of those rare ones. Extraordinary teacher, very knowledgeable about the subject, in this case, the Holocaust. Paper required, and 3 books to read and discuss. Good guy, too. You need to study for the exams, and be in class.

Dr.Szymchak truly knows his history!I enjoyed his lectures,as every one was interesting and never boring.Dr Szymchak has a rather unique style of presenting his lectures that make his tests relatively easy as long as you pay attention. Great teacher!

Szymczak was one of my favorite teachers while I attended PSB. I will never forget the multiple impersonations and witty comments he would do routinely throughout his lectures. He is not only a very wise person, but a great teacher. The tests are not hard, but require studying. And his classes can be drawn out and boring, though!

My third class with Dr. S. He's witty, really nowledgeable,and keeps your attention the whole time everytime. He uses excellent films to reinforce what we.ve read and discussed. Highly recommended!

I took four classes with Szymczak and I loved him! He made class enjoyable and entertaining. You really need to go to class if you want a good grade, there is a lot of material covered in each lecture! The class contained tests, quizzes, and one book report! You do have to study! No questions come from the textbook but it still helped!!!

This guy is awesome. Nermind history chanel let this guy lecture you and you dont need it. This guy knows a lot about history. the lectures are so good, you dont want to miss class. my favorite time is when he made fun of Nazis and Polish people. lol. OH and dont get him started on BEER!
