On the board he writes a list of what he is going to go over for the day, you only have to pay attention to what he says about the topics on the board. If you miss what he says trust me he will repeat it at least 4 times before the test just write it down. Take the practice tests before every exam, you'll ace the class and won't even need the book

He is an ok prof. He lectures for the entire class and they are really boring, but he doesn't keep you for any longer than an hour. Gives pop quizzes but usually tells you when they will be. You have to read the book otherwise you will not pass. Questions on tests are straight from the book, so just read the book and you'll be fine.

He has a very monotoned voice making it hard for you to pay attention in the class. 3 tests count for the whole grade. He gives pop quizzes but tells you when you are going to get them but, they are extra credit. The test arent hard nor the pop quizzes. If you cant't pay attention in class just read the book and you will be fine. He uses examples.

Good professor, he gives pop quizzes which are actually extra credit assignments; so he gives you an incentive to come to class. 2 tests and a final which he reviews for.

Great professor overall. 2 tests and a final. Pop quizzes are random but they only help your grade. No homework at all. Boring class because of long lectures. Easy grade though, final is basically both tests. 40-45 questions tests not hard at all. Take him for sure.

Prof. Vaden is one of the most interesting and caring instructors I have ever had. He walks you through the textbook like a maestro. He really knows his stuff. He brings a boring subject to a new and exciting level. If you want to learn economics Prof. Vaden is your man.

Good luck with this class. Prof. Vaden may be a genius when it comes to economics, but a complete failure when it comes to teaching. You'll often see him standing at the board pointing and referring to things that are only in his head and that you can't see. His tests are straight from the book's printable source or online, so nothing from him.

SUPER BORING. I fell asleep 1/4 of his classes because his voice put me to sleep. He is a very nice guy and loves to help but I suggest sitting in the front of the class so you concentrate. He says "Essentially" in every sentence. He knows his stuff but hard class to stay awake in

2 Tests and 1 final make up your whole grade. Made us write a 5 page paper that didnt affect our grade at all. He is a really boring teacher and really doesnt know how to teach that great. If you read the book you will be fine. His tests are kind of hard but he puts up practice tests on blackboard. Overall not a terrible teacher but really boring

Im not sure if anyone can make economics that interesting but its certainly not this guy He's a nice guy and he follows the book all semester which is good, but you'll find yourself drifting to sleep if your not careful.

He's okay, just boring. If he was less boring I probably would have paid more attention and done better. His tests are very difficult. Seriously, some of the hardest tests ever.

Very good teacher. If you read the book (like you're supposed to) you will do well. He makes it very clear what is and what is not on the test. I had him for a night class, and he always let us out early. He's always in a good mood and always willing to explain something to you. I cannot think of one complaint. I'll take him again if I can.

The most awful prof i've ever had. He humped the chalkboard the entire time he taught...and not a fun thing to look at for three hours at a time. Dry, dull and extrememly boring. Save yourself...find a different prof.
