Comment:

Not understanding, do not recommend for a Public Speaking professor seeing as that is a very stressful class if you have anxiety about giving speeches in front of groups of people. Also, if you think taking it online will make it easier it might not because he makes you film your self giving the speeches in front of 6 ADULTS, any less 0%.

He is not a bad professor but he is also not lenient or understanding on anything. Even if you attempt an assignment you do not get partial credit. It is all or nothing, no in between.

I took Bob's class out of recommendation from some classmates my previous semester, and I couldn't be more pleased. Witkowski is a down to earth professor, but very easy to speak with. He's very clear about the grading criteria for each speech, and makes sure to give helpful/constructive feedback for your presentations. Would definitely take again.

Comment:

Here's the deal: you're at midlands tech and you're going to hear some absolutely horrendous speeches. It's one of the most hilarious experiences I've had in all my life. Bob looks like if Jay Leno and Nathan Fielder did a Saiyan fusion and he talks like it too. The two tests are based off the book that nobody reads and are hard as hell.

I nearly failed this class because the professor made a grading error. Be aware and always double check your grades. I made mostly A's and occasionally a B in the class. Thankfully I noticed the error and had my final grade corrected with nothing but a half-hearted apology in return. Avoid this professor if possible.

He was an excellent down to earth instructor. You had to work for your grades. Only 2 test(midterm&final), but you had about 4 or 5 speeches. He was straight to the point and whatever was ask of you he expected you to do. He had some interesting stories about speeches. He came to class on time everyday and expected the same from his students.

There are 12 quizzes but he drops the lowest grade from 2 of them. The quizzes range from 5-10 questions that are multiple choice & true/false. There's a total of 21 journals that count towards your participation grade. There's also an interview project & a movie project. All are fairly easy, you just have to take the time to do them.

BORINGGGGGG!!!! I feel like I am dying in this class I had to put my hands over my ears and chatter my teeth because his voice is so monotone and I couldnt listen to him talk for one more minute. He also talks about STDs and AIDS all class period it turned into sex ed class

Mr. Witkowski took time after every class to speak to the students. He was very clear about his expectations and as long as you take notes and do what he says you should make a good grade. Tests were 50% notes and 50% book. If you show up for class everyday and pay attention you should do well.

I highly recommend his Introduction to Public Speaking course during the 5-week summer session. You will learn a lot about your strengths and weaknesses and how to give effective, structured speeches with good delivery. You will also meet a lot of interesting people and learn about each of them through their speeches over the duration of the course

I took his class online...EASY A! You will have to have 6 adults but our class formed groups and times to complete. He is clear about this and you will get a 0 if you dont have 6 adults. Get familyfriends and do the work and vids and its so easy. Test r str8 from chpt and you get 9mins with 10 quest. EASY A -Great Professor. Do be afraid of PubSpkn

Great teacher. Very willing to help and has a fair grading system. He's also easy on the eyes. Take him for an easy A.
