Comment:

Dr. Young was very funny and made my first ever college class enjoyable and stress free. The tests in his class were all take home which was good because they were all short answers or essays, so they took a lot of time. I enjoyed his energy and his lectures never were boring. I would definitely take him again if I have the chance.

This teacher not only sends you encouraging emails telling you not only what you you need to work on for the next assignment but also tells you what you did do correctly! He is hilarious, intelligent, and really works with you! Didn't use the textbook much. Lecture based with open discussion.

Everyone in the world should be like Bob Young. He has so much passion. He teaches history like he's telling a story about his homies. All lectures, pay attention. The only grades in his class are writing assignments, but he's more worried about content than superior writing skills. He gives great feedback on every assignment. Bonus: Epic wardrobe.

Bob is a wonderful professor and if you get the opportunity to have him as a teacher, take it. He gives wonderful lectures and makes history very interesting. In fact, after taking his class, I'm exploring history as a major. He is also a very hilarious and caring person, and sends you an email with feedback after every paper.

By far my favorite educator in any level of education. His unique flair, brutal historical honesty, and awesome (crazy) outfits all contribute to amazing lectures. He actually makes me want to attend lectures. Would recommend to literally ANYONE. He is an A+ educator, and an even better person.

Easy to understand, engaging, funny, and obviously knows and loves what he's talking about. The work is completely relevant to class lectures and is easy, assuming you pay attention in class. By far my favorite professor.

Incredible speaker! Lectures were interesting and used a lot of personal anecdotes to make things more fun. He doesn't give quizzes-- only a few tests, which he lets you turn in late with a very merciful 2 point per day deduction. Gives good feedback on papers, and if you email him an assignment, he'll personally respond with your grade (fast!)

By far the BEST teacher ever! If you are required to take History, don't waste your time, take Dr. Young! He has a great sense of humor, he is a great speaker, he is very intelligent, you get to watch cool movies, work is easy, and he has a great sense of style!

Literally the easiest teacher EVER. He was interesting (and I do not like history). He was SUCH an easy grader! He doesnt care if you come to class. I wrote a book report on a book I didnt read in his class and received an "A". Take his class if you need an easy class!
