One of my top 3 favorite professors at Hof. If you love design/tech/media take his classes because he's got a ton of knowledge in various design fields. This guys the man.

This professor probably isn't the WORST one at Hofstra, but if you're like me and have taken this professor several times you'll notice that not only are ALL of the classes almost exactly the same each time, but they could also just be online classes instead. Sitting in his classroom for two hours twice a week seems like torture.

He always says that design is everything. I thought that is just the typical "you won't survive without math" sentence but he was actually able to convince me otherwise. You have to be open to what he tries to teach. Show up and do your work: easy A. Recommend!

Really boring class in general. The content would be cool, however everything has to be done his way. He is almost always unclear about things and very wishy washy. He forces you to do things in a "professional" manner, but it destroys the whole "creative" aspect of producing something. The class sucks, don't take it.

While he is clear and the work is do-able, he is just a god awful teacher. He tells you that the main purpose of the class is to be creative, and then he'll tell you that your project is too creative and that you need to tone it down. While he is a very nice guy, and he gives you good feedback on your work, he just makes your work incredible boring

Really easy class and all of the assignments are on a blog online so you can essentially do all of the work in your bed and still get an A. Having said that, he has a lot of connections, so if you're interested in a similar field he could help with your future, so I'd get on his good side. His classes are fun anyway, so why not do your work there?

Had him twice so far. He is nice but it not very good at teaching. And by teaching I mean that he does not teach you HOW. He merely says, do this, and shows you the minimum of what each application is about. Everything I've learned about graphic design is self-taught. None of the assignments I did for him will be in my portfolio.

He is assertive about HIS style of design, but he does bend if you engage him properly. The man is BOMBASTIC; very zany. You will leave the class smiling everyday. He knows a lot about design, evidenced by the success of his career. He teaches above the skill level of the average professor.

This man was both enthusiastic and helpful. the projects were very practical. He cares about each student and is always available to ask questions. sometimes he's not in class, ya gotta find him. grading: easy. if u put ur stuff together and have an organized binder. take this class u won't be sorry
