Does not give syllabus and marks very hard on the paper. Material she teaches is interesting but her teaching method is not effective. She values class participation a lot and may call on you at times.

While she might have all the qualifications, she is the worst educator I have ever had in my educational career. She is very disorganized and has a complete inability to communicate information effectively. Can't answer any questions students ask her and is outwardly stubborn with her own opinions. Take this class with another professor.

Class wasn't bad - in fact I really enjoyed it. However, she is a tad aggressive and couldn't answer a number of questions students had. She marks the Maus assignment very leniently but intentionally marks the in class essay very harshly. Why not just mark consistently? Extremely ridiculous.

Material was interesting, but the class was disorganized. No Syllabus and vague on assignment requirements. Encouraged discussion, but didn't seem to care for other opinions. Attendance mandatory if you want to do well on the final. Midterm and paper are marked hard, but the final is straightforward. She will make you speak in class.

She has no syllabus. How are you supposed to keep up? She thinks students are only taking this course and piles the work on you. STAY AWAY.

Awful. Take the class with someone else. Her lectures are barely coherent. Hard marker on midterm and paper, easiest final ever. Plays favorites in class, so suck up to her if you have to take her class. Attendance helps.

Ohh Dr.Kremer. Very smart prof but since this was her only class she expected too much from students. Hard marker, TONS of e-mails. Tough midterm, easy final. Encourages discussion but is very stubborn with her own opinions. The material itself is fascinating so take this course no matter what. Stenberg does an easier version of the course.

Arrogant, rude, and bossy are just 3 words that describe her. STAY AWAY!! consider yourself warned. She gives assignments and refuses to clearly state what she expects and gets annoyed when you ask for clarity. She demands you listen and then demands that you speak. She is a dictator not a professor.

Comment:
"Penguin" was terrible. No clarity, no organization. She wanted us to participate, but when we would, she would rudely interrupt us. She thought that her opinion was the only opinion, and didn't understand the concept of an argumentative essay, commenting that it was "one-sided"...duh, it's supposed to be. Avoid her!

Comment:
By far the worst academic experience I've ever had. Going to class with this woman was a chore, as her teaching style is invasive and offensive. Instead of trying to promote interest and educate her class on the subject, Roberta would impose her own ideology upon students. Very insensitive to students, and god help you if you disagreed with her.

her lectures are boring and pointless. She is a control freak and has the personality of sandpaper. If you want to learn something take another prof. She has a permanent smirk as if she is all knowing and you should be impressed.

Even though there was a lot to learn in 3 weeks, Dr. Kremer made it seem almost easy. Very concerned about student. Very helpful. Not overly mushy or friendly. Incredibly interesting class and well taught.
