Comment:
Dr. Ripple's feedback in the course for Knowledge of Students and their Learning was extremely helpful. She described how the theories we studied could be readily observed and directly applied to the classroom setting. I learned a great deal from her class without busy work or meaningless assignments. I am hoping to take another course with her.

I took Human Dev/Mot/Learning totally online but she was my professor...I loved the class and highly rec. the WebCT version. It was a lot of reading and some crazy long written responses, but I learned a lot and she always (almost immediately) responded with loads of feedback. I got a 98 in the course!

Thought the class was fairly easy. Did not have any tests, just tons of reading assignments. Grades were based on essay responses based on chapter reading. Had to rate a couple of current movies that dealt with teaching/school environment. Took as online course.

Dr. Ripple is a very nice lady and the class is interesting, but many of the assignments are just busy work. I'd rather have free writing time or open class discussions on student concerns than do busy work. Like I said, she is nice and will help you all she can. She just needs to spice it up a bit.

This class was like a good suspense thriller. Everything seems to be going fine until you get the email.....I haven't received any of your test...that you HAVE been taking and turning in. Leaves you guessing just what your grade is...and who's going to disappear mysteriously next
