Rod Compton was an amazing teacher! He kept the class interesting and fun, loved the ECU Pirates and his character and happiness glowed about him. RIP Professor Rod!

OBSESSED with Tazmanian Devil and Pirates. Attendance is MANDATORY. He always puts two basically RIGHT answers on at least 5-6 questions(on the exams)..I wouldn't suggest taking him.

His attendance policy is rediculous. Don't be even 1 second late...and don't sign your name in the wrong block. It's an absense. Pay attention during taping and wraps demonstrations because he will not show you again. Asking him questions only leads to smart ass answers or "looks like someone didn't do their reading last night." I hate Taz.

A little boring. Kind of crazy for a mid-aged adult. Obsessed with Tazmanian Devil and Pirates (in general). His tests are very difficult. Always two answers that are 100% right. Test averages in my class have yet to exceed 75.

he is a good teacher for this class, he tells some crazy stories but the class is not that hard. he tells you what you need to know you just need to study it a little bit before the test. he a good teacher take this class, its an easy A!

Makes the easiest subject hard to learn. I hated this class even though the subject matter was interesting. Test averages around 65-75 in my class but he still didn't adknowlege the fact that maybe his teaching methods were not working! Hated this class!

Compton is one of the worst proffesors I have ever had. He is a fifty year old man obsessed with the tazmanian devil. He wears taz belts, jackets, and has taz seatbelts in his car. He is very unfair, not helpful, and at one point told me I was destined to fail. Stay away at all costs. The only thing good about taking his class is to make you laugh

I m a straight "A" student who studies a lot and has no social life. This class kicked my butt last semester and everytime students ask him a question he uses slick comments to humiliate them in front of class. For that reason not many people ask questions in his class, he tries to screw people by making them put (+)or (0) for T or F point penalty.

Rod is the worst profesor by far I have ever had! He is extremely direspectful of his students and has no desire to see his students succeed. He gets irritaed at students questions and always refuses to reexplain a topic if it is unclear. Do not take this class. Rod should not be teaching.

Rod has this unparalleled ability to make students sick to their stomachs! Not because he simply isn't easy on the eyes, but because he refer's to his students as "you people" and shows no respect for you or your career plans for the future. He's unprofessional, sexiest towards women, and enjoys making students feel like failures!

His stories are very ditsurbing anyone that has seen all the things he has seen is sure to be disturbed. You will leave the class thinking more about his stories rather than the class material and it seems like that is all he talks about while we are in class.

Class is extremely boring except from some of his stories. Most of his exams come from the book and the rest from the supplementary internet source (some of the exam questions are taken EXACTLY from the internet source). Attendance in his class is mandatory and after 4 absences, grade will suffer!

I've heard stuff about him being a **** but i didn't pick up on that too much personally. I loved hearing all the gruesome injury stories which is all he talks a/b. Read the book but in the ch. on animal bites, don't believe that ferrets have a "rapid fire bite & slash attack". Most are sweet!
