This class is so easy if you actually try. There are a lot of articles that you have to read but they are easy. The tests are also super easy if you actually pay attention. I don't even think it's possible to fail this class. Really great professor.

Attendance isn't mandatory, but going to class every day made the quizzes and tests super easy. The readings vary; some are easy (M.L.K.), while others make you want to sit in the corner of a room and cry (Rorty). Jackson has the perfect qualities of a prof: hilarious, actually cares about his students, balding. Overall: Go to class easy A.

Dr. Jackson is a very respectable teacher. He gives work, helps with the work, assigns quizzes, and even give an answer to an upcoming quiz sometimes if caught correctly. Overall helpful and tries his best to be specific. He infrequently can forget to answer questions, but it's understandable given the man questions he receives in the course.

I love philosophy classes and Jackson's ethics was still the hardest class I had all semester. There was a lot of writing, a lot of reading, and long lectures for the entire class. Even though it was really difficult, i learned a lot and it ended up being one of my favorite classes I've taken at Stockton. Jackson does a great job helping you learn

Jackson is one of the most accommodating professors I've ever had. If you have an exam in your next class that you need to study for, or if you need to miss lectures because of something important, he's totally understanding and works with you to figure out how to get it done without a problem. I wish i could take more of his classes

Jackson is one of my favorite professors at Stockton. His class was difficult ,but he really tries to make everyone in the room understand what he's talking about. He was happy to answer any and all questions, and was great at organizing discussion and helping everyone out. If you can handle some tough material, Jackson's a great professor.

Took Jackson's ethics class and was really happy with it. In the beginning he lectures on theories, then the second half is all about current events and arguing about them. The class was a lot of fun and i learned a lot, but there's a lot of writing and he grades your papers strictly. I like him a lot, but his class was pretty difficult.

Professor Jackson is the man I was having a lot of trouble transitioning into a new area and new school. I had a lot of setbacks that got me to start falling behind in class but he was there every step of the way to make sure I got the material and got all my work quiztests handed in. Absolute AWESOME professor. Highly recommend taking him. Not the easiest BUT he is very clear and helpful and easy to talk approach. Even semesters later he remembers who you are and will talk to you and joke around when he sees you. Very cool, funny, laid-back guy, hands down one of my favorite professors at Stockton.

Critical Thinking transfer seminar, SO HELPFUL & very laidback, knows a lot about Stockton & wants everyone to succeed. Relates well with students, funny, very knowledgeable & approachable. 8 quizzes, 2 exams, no textbook - sends out articles for each class. Covers helpful topics that can be used in any field/class. I would take him again for sure.

MEDICINE, ETHICS, AND THE ARTS. I took this because I needed a GAH and W2. It's great to knock out both, but you are definitely working for it. There are 4 exams, not easy to study for bc he makes you study for 10 short answer questions and then only picks a few. Write a 10pg paper and then rewrite it. Learn alot though.

great teacher! had him for critical thinking, which counts towards a g course and a w2. a little disorganized because he was trying a new system for teaching this course, and will not let you out early. but, funny guy, cares about his students and will do anything to help you out if you need it.

Two big projects: a presentation and 15pg paper with a partner and a 15pg paper on your own. Books are tough on your own, but tend to make sense after he lectures.

Really interesting and fun classes - discussions are rampant. He likes conversation and enjoys varying opinions. Do the reading - or read highlights and talk a good line, he appreciates both. Papers have to be well thought out for a good grade - but he is happy to accept versions and work on them.
