roger, is the best proffesor i have had. he is funny, friendly and makes learning fun. he is captivating and very clear. he doesnt like negative attidutes and he loves oppinions/views. roger is also willing to bend over backwards students to see that they get the most out of his class

Very in to his work, loves it and you can tell. He can be offensive if you go in to his class with the wrong attitude, but if you are in the right frame of mind, his class is EXCELLENT. Funny character, and makes class enjoyable.

Roger is the best teacher I've ever had, and I've had a few good ones! He loves his topic, he gets it, and he can translate it so you get it. I was already really interested in Soc (as a concept) long before his classes, but my convictions have been strenghtened and my direction reinforced. Cheers Rog, don't stop!

This is a man who really knows his field. I would love to take an upper level course of his at UVic. Yes he does give you answers to the exams, but when paper time comes round its all on you. The first year classes are limiting, but the deviance course is fun and involving.
