Roger is honestly my favorite professor at Tech. In class, he makes a difficult subject easy to understand and interesting. He has office hours all day, making him accessible for help with the nightly homework. He grades tests fairly, and truly cares about his students' well being. This is one class I will miss!

Roger was and will be the best professor I ever had. I took him for Dynamics. He made the course material incredibly interesting with his lectures. I remember saying "This guy was burning calories teaching that class" while walking out of my first Dynamics class. Overall, tests are similar to the homework (and he gives a lot of it). Best prof at VT

What to say... Chang is by far the best professor in the world. He explains everything very well with his crazy antics. He could make a business major understand Deforms. He teaches the class and walks away like a boss.

Our Chang who art in heaven. Hallowed be thy name. Thy Statics come thy Free Body Diagram be done, on Trusses as it is in Total Bodies. Give us this test, our formula sheet, with non-numerical equations. Forgive us our mistakes, as we strive for partial credit. And, lead us not into failure, but deliver us from Hendricks. Amen

Roger is awesome. His lectures made the problems crystal clear. If you put time into studying you can easily Ace his exams. He is also very helpful in his office hours. I only went twice but he makes sure not to put you down for not understanding and cares about his students. Very good prof. can't wait to take his classes in ESM in the future

If you are just interested in getting a good grade, take Chang's class. If you truly like physics, take another class because Chang skipped over the last 3 chapters covered in other sections (Thermo, Waves, Gravitation and Kepler's laws)

Without a doubt the best professor I have had three years into my college experience. Chang is the man. The formula to getting an "A" in his course is as follows: 1) Go to class 2) Stay Awake 3) Go to ALL study Sessions. Thats it, which isn't too much to ask for a class like physics. Definitely take Chang if you can, PERFECT professor.

Considering I've never had physics before and I'm not a physics person at all, Chang was excellent. He gave clear concise and explained them well. He was easily approachable and helpful. He cared more about us properly learning the material than us completing a syllabus. He is a model teacher for what all college proffessors should be.

One word: Excellent. This is perhaps the best organized, most well-run university level course I have ever taken. He get's right to the important material; no time wasted on meaningless BS. He is a model for students and professors everywhere. A "Professor of the Year" nomination is certainly in order.

He is extremely clear when explaining the principles and fundamentals of physics. You will learn the proper way to approach problems and you will have confidence going into the next semester of Physics. His tests are the fairest tests I have ever seen.
