The best theory teacher ever. He makes it fun yet challenging. Always available after class for help. Most caring and awesome teacher at Simpson. Wish I could take more classes from him . Highly respected by all.

Amazing that this guy can take a subject that has the potential to be interesting and make it completely mind numbingly dull. He basically killed my interest in music theory - thank God there are other professors here that revived it for me or I would have hated theory forever.

Professor Albrecht is awesome! I took his History of Rock and Roll May Term class and loved it! He really has a passion for teaching and is a really funny and caring person. He knows a lot about music and is great to talk to.

Harmony 1 was so awesome with him! He is a jokester so you have to be able to take a joke but he works your ass off and it pays off because when the tests come around, you know everything! He makes the class fun!

At first I felt like he picked on me a lot...but it was only because he liked me. He's got a great sense of humor, and we joked around in class sometimes, but don't plan on that happening too often. He likes to move pretty quickly, but if the majority of the class is having difficulty, he will slow down and go over things again. Great guy.
