Avoid class. Makes you believe you are doing great but gives you a not-so-decent grade. He makes you pity him when he talks about SETs so that students can give him good ratings, but do not believe it. He should not be at an institution like Bentley.

He's definitely a nice guy, just have to get on his good side. Class is an easy 4.0 if you participate and do well on the quizzes which are multiple choice straight from the book. You have the opportunity to talk about your own life experience. Must take if you like to talk a lot.

I participated every class and thought I had a good relationship with the guy. 4.0 on his 2 tests 3.7 on midterm paper 4.0 on the final. Got a 3.3, emailed him asking if we could talk about my grade and he never got back. Grade not based on performance

If you can get over his "its my way or the highway" mindset on opinionated subjects you'll prob love him. Class is seriously all participation and quizzes, which you need to study for because they're directly from the book. Don't expect an easy grade if you don't study or if you don't have the same opinion bc he will call you out. He's very rude

Honestly, this man made me a little uncomfortable but it is a very easy class where you sit and talk the whole time. It is a nice break from all the hard classes you are taking and I really recommend it to freshman who are struggling with GB's and just want something easy. 3.3's and 3.7's all around for doing very little, he's just annoying.

Ron Evans is the bees knees. This is a very unique class, and one unlike any other course you'd take at Bentley. To say the least, it's unconventional. It's all about talking and participating and getting into deep and personal discussions with your classmates. That's basically it. The best part about it is that you actually learn so much.

All participation. Easiest class ever. Enjoyed going to class everyday. 4 short quizzes. One group presentation about culture that took five minutes to prepare. No essays- he got a rid of it for our year. Definitely take this class cause its an easy 3.7-4.0. Study bold and colored text for tests.

Class is all participation. 2 ten page papers and 2-3 quizzes that come directly from the book. Quizzes are pretty easy and as long as you follow directions with paper you will get a 3.7-4.0. Out of 150 kids he said he gave out 7 4.0's for the Spring 2014 semester and about 35 3.7's. I got a 3.7 so I cant really complain.

Ron was the TA for this class, I had a lot of problems connecting with him at the end of the semester, just before the final. He would take forever to respond to emails and be vague about when he would be in his office; there were times when I thought he was supposed to be there and I would show up and he was not there, poor communication.

Loved Professor Evans, talked to him after class a few times, extremely insightful. Make sure you do the reading and do well on the essays. 2 major essays both 10 pages, pretty easy cause you're writing about yourself. Very discussion based and make sure you participate. He likes playing devil's advocate so beware.

Worst professor I've ever had. Usually don't rate professor, but felt the need to share my experience with people potentially signing up for his class. Just be warned that he's very one sided and teaches you absolutely nothing. Very disappointed in the class.
