the class was great. i was so suprised at how fun algae could be, or how much someone could care about them. he knew everything. tests were really hard. class was great because it was so small and the field trips were so fun! most fun ive had in a bog ever!

Good teacher, great guy. I work in his lab and he's a wonderful person to be around. Definitely knows his stuff about algae and plants. His tests require you to remember very specific material.

There is no one else on the face of the planet that cares as much about algae as Ron. I had him for Intro too, where he is less effective. When it comes to algae, there is no one else who can induce excitement about cryptomonads in college students.
