Professor Huswit is a great professor. He might be old and some sort of dry, but if you can keep up with his lectures, I'm sure you will learn a lot as he knows what he teaches and is very knowledgeable. His quizzes are the easiest, and though his tests can be tricky, he is a merciful grader. He is also a great guy in person.

Hustwit was my FYS instructor and my advisor through my sophomore year. He was such a helpful man and he obviously cared about his students. He does like to appoint a lot of papers, but he grades them very fairly and shows you what to improve. I liked his class and, to be honest, it was not too hard either!
