His lectures are interesting, which makes it easier to come to class. You need to read the text book. You can do well by reading the chapters learned before each class, and start studying from day 1 of class to make it easier on yourself before the final (which is midpoint of the course). Getting to Yes is a book you will use in day to tday life :)

The whole class is based on group work, so choose your group wisely. Ron is very clear in what he expects from you with attendance and the project. He lectures for the first half of class and then gives the second half for groups to work together. He is always happy to help and is easy to talk to.

Group, group, group! Your success in this course will be heavily influenced by your group selection - which is the luck of the draw at best. There is a significant business plan to be put together within 1.5 months followed by 3 other group based tasks. The executive game is interesting, however it lacks predictability. Difficult, but interesting.

Ron is a good teacher. Group member selection is crucial in BUSI 2405!! You will likely be stuck with the same group members for the duration of the course. The Simulation game is easy if everybody does their part and reads the book and should not be taken lightly. The book is tough to read, but it MUST be read.

Prof has a awesome attitude!! He is knowledgable with material and explains very well how we should work in order to succeed, this motivated me to focus on my work. My best advice would be is to gather a good learning group with people who want to learn and actually do work.

Horrible prof. He wastes a ton of time and his expectations are unclear. The material itself is easy but he does nothing to help you if you need it. On a side note, he breathes very deeply out loud and it is extremely annoying. Take him for the grade but don't take him if you want to take something away from the course.

Ron is a nice guy but he is not clear of his expectations. There is no exam, marks are based strictly on a large group project and a business simulation game. The excutive game is a joke! A complete waste of time. Even though I got a good mark, I suggest taking the credit elsewhere and transfering back. A waste of four months.

Ron is a decent professor. He isn't the easiest marker in the world, but he is fair. He uses the text and he uses point form notes. As long as you read about the notes that he provides from the text, you should do fine on his exams. I am taking him again for BUSI2465. He is a straight up guy, which means he won't give you the run around with things

Extremely clear & helpful instructor. Gives handouts of lecture notes. Exams straight from text & lectures. Exams are easy and straightforward if you read the test. Get marks for attendance and participation. Very helpful instructor. Would definitely take a class with him again!
