Comment:

Prof Orlando is a very good teacher. He says you need a textbook, but you don't because he gives the required notes before every class. The class I took was lengthy (4 hours), so it can become overwhelming at times but he finds a way to make it go by fast. He also gives you a chance to do test corrections to get some points back.

This professor is very good. He is very thorough, making sure you understand the material. He give homework after every class at times it may seem like a lot but its reviewing the material of that day. What I did like about this professor was his reviews are the sames as the tests and he provides a packet for the chapters which is great for notes.

He was very nice. The class was pretty easy, it's all common sense. Big homework but with plenty of time. Only 3 tests plus the final. Pay attention and take notes because the tests were basically the same thing we did in class.

If you don't already have a strong foundation in algebra, I'd strongly advise you to NOT take his class. He's nice, but he doesn't do a great job at explaining concepts. I felt like I was sitting in there just to watch him solve math problems. He wound up going overboard on some topics, so we didn't even start trig until a week before the final.

Amazing Professor. He is patient, clear and wants to see you learn. He takes his time teaching and will go back and explain anything to you. He is heaven sent. I hated math but I never felt lost in his class. Take him to improve your math skills and to get a good grade !

Awesome teacher! Math was never my favorite subject but after taking this class I've learned to appreciate it much more. I'd reccomend Prof. Orlando to everyone. He's very patient, super nice, and has no problems answering your questions. God bless.

Like seriously I thought I had a moth disorder until I met this man, I didn't even know how to do long division. He is so patient,he is very approachable and if you need extra help after class he's stays and help you. He also doesn't rush you on the test. I'm telling you ask questions, don't be shy or embarrassed he is a blessing!!!!!

Great Professor! Takes his time in showing you how to solve equations. I broke my ankle two weeks before finals and he let me take the final at his Yonkers location in July. Very compassionate about his work. Only get the textbook if you plan on doing homework, he doesn't check it but he will know by your grades if your actually doing it.

soo easy and soo nice. do the homeworks to keep up not mandatory so if you dnt plan on doing hw then dont get the text book he makes his own notes and hands them out for you. you have to get the calculator class will be impossible without one i want to take a class with him again

Absolutely excellent teacher. He makes sure that every member of the class reaches their full potential. When he finishes a problem he checks to see that no one is lost and has the correct answer. I transferred into his class after experiencing great difficulty with another professor and my grades soared. I 'd go out of my way to take his class

One of the best math teaches I have ever had. He is great explaining...he makes things so easy to understand. I personally love math and neatness. I was in heaven when i took his class. I got A+ in all quizes and tests. The secret in his class is just pay attention and you will do great!
