He's a great teacher, but a little scattered brain. I guess I would be too if I were teaching for over 40 years. He has some awesome stories that go with the lecture and the workload isn't much. There were a few times he cancelled class because of health reasons, but we learned everything we needed to know. Take him if he is still teaching.

Great teacher! I see him as a wise old man, and he really loves to teach his students a lot about education and its process. His tests are pretty easy, he posts the outlines on moodle but you really don't need them if you listen to his stories and lectures in class, besides he reviews of mainly what is on the test right before you take it.

He is so sweet...he is an elderly man who is basically blind...so you can get away with a whole lot....he is very understanding and lenient...he repeats himself a whole lots in the lectures...and his tests (2) are super easy

Great professor, very knowledgeable and understanding. Gives a great deal of ways for extra credit he may not say it but just ask, especially if there are any workshops or lectures from special guests on campus. Tests are straight from lecture and very rare use of textbook. I didn't have one, attended every class, extra points and passed with A!

Both Dr. Perry in Education and Dr. Kalich in Sociology are outstanding teachers, these amazing people are excellent mentors to upstarting Teachers because their philosophy is to "never, ever give up on a student".
