If you havent taken a calculus course before I would choose a different professor, the only reason I got an A was because I learned all this in HS but all the people in my class were failing because he teaches it like its review. Hes also terrible at answering questions, but if you are good at teaching yourself math youll do fine.

There's only 5 tests, he drops the lowest one and replaces it with the final. There's no homework grades so the only grades you have are the tests. I think he's a really good teacher. He explains things really well. Divides the class into 2 parts, reviews the homework for the 1st half and then you learn new material next. Takes attendance 2nd half

Worst professor I've ever had, no cap. Long boring lectures twice a week in a monotone phlegmatic voice. I'm actually shocked he has a single positive rating and even more shocked he hasn't been fired. Take him only if you want to regret taking him.

He goes over homework the first 40 minutes of class and then takes attendance so you can be late. He is a very boring professor and often needs to be corrected by students. Try and find a better professor but hes a solid plan B.

Amazing math professor! I'm a transfer student and I've had a nightmare math prof in the past. Understand, Radloff is fantastic in comparison - he knows how to teach! Thorough with problems, answers any questions, tests are difficult but fair. Some topics are harder than others, but easy A! Apply yourself, use the book, and go to learning center.

This man alone ruined my semester. His final was terrible. He can hardly hear and just babbles on making it very difficult to follow along because he is too old to teach. He makes mistakes while grading the tests as well and it his hard to see him during office hours because he has a short window of time and many students try to see him.

Do not believe all these good ratings for him. I have always been an above average math student but Ronald is a terrible professor. His class is very long and boring while he goes over the homework and gives a terrible lecture. The school needs to fire him.

Radloff is a really nice guy and he will help you if you need it. I took calc before which made this class very easy, and he was also really good at presenting the material-- as I had forgotten some concepts. His tests are exactly like the problems he does in class and the study guide! 4 tests and the final--drops lowest test grade

Do not skip his class unless necessary, especially if you haven't taken a calculus class in a long time. Your entire grade is based on 4 midterms and the final, which will replace the score of one midterm if it benefits your grade. The online assignments aren't mandatory, BUT they helped me tremendously when studying for tests. study study study!!

I was very scared to take Radloff bc I have never taken calc and the reviews on here say he is challenging, but I really like his class! If you put effort into it you should do really well. He's also very nice and helpful! He's a cute little grandpa

He gives homework every night and you don't have to do it but if you don't that's just flat out stupid. Do the homework you can't get less than a B.

Grade is based off 4 tests and a final. Just pay attention and get help because you'll need to know everything to do what's next. It's a very boring class so sit up front and don't use your phone.

love him grade is based on 4 tests and the final if you do better on the final he drops your lowest score and counts final twice hes a great professor who is easy to go to if you have a question and spends most of class going over hw questions and giving examples on new material hw not required he takes attendance but if you email him he excuses it

If you aren't good at teaching yourself probably not the best class. Also calculus isn't the easiest class. Radloff is always willing to help and is a very nice man.

Ronald is an ok choice for 205. As someone who has never been great at Math, he's very straightforward but tends to go a little too fast when it comes to reviewing things you might've learned in high school Calc. He does take off points for even the smallest mistakes. But, he's super nice and always wants people to come to his office hours for help

He presents the material in a manner that is very easy to follow. He starts every class going over the HW problems from last class. 4 tests and a final; he drops the lowest test grade. There are study guides with review problems before every test that are very helpful. Could be hard if you didn't take AP Calc, but I didn't and did just fine!

Such an easy class even with some of the difficult concepts because he reviews everything he has previously said and there are no surprises on the test. His reviews are so important as his test mimics the review. The girl next to me plays on her phone all class and received half the grade I did on the last test so please pay attention!

We take a total of 5 tests, and the last test is the final and that grade will replace your lowest test grade. But that is all the grades he gives us. It seemed like every 2 weeks there was another test but he is a good teacher. he goes kinda fast. So if you struggle with math probs not a good idea to take him. But he is more than willing to help.

If you haven't taken a Calculus class in High School I WOULD NOT take Radlof. He doesn't really teach. Each class he just does problems from the textbook in front of class and expects you to know it, then assisgns more problems. People who have taken calc thinks the class is easy, those who haven't (like me) can easily get lost and frustrated
