I had him for the second half of science of storms and I thought he was great. He's interesting and funny. He tries so hard to involve his students. I am not one to drop in to ask teachers questions but he was incredibly friendly and helpful :)

Comment:

Professor Stewart is a pretty humourous and intelligent man. Gyamuk and Stewart rotate teaching duties but I found Stewart to be way more lively. The class is interesting as you learn about tornadoes, floods, storms, etc. Assignments are reasonable (5 questions for one) and exams were non-accumulative. Good elective to take!

Great class, and very easy midterm and final. The assignments require lots of effort but great fun when you put the time into it. Love the class and I would highly recommend this class.

Prof Stewart was amazing in this course. He explained the material really clearly. I was capitvated in each class (didn't miss one). The assignment applied your knowledge from the readings and lectures and made you feel effing sweet when you completed them! I thoroughly enjoyed this course!

Very hard class!Teacher is nice but his lectures are really boring. Assignments, exams are extremly hard especially for those who don't have background in atmospheric science. This class stresses out a lot and it does not look like as an introductory class!
