A very kind professor. Expect to attend every class and to participate. Weekly homework assignments. Her lectures are necessary to do well in the class because participation is a chunk of your grade, plus she goes over everything for tests. Easy to approach if you need help, but don't expect her to hand you an A either. I would take her again.

Spanish 201 is mandatory; it is easy to pass with a prof. who works with students who have a childish attitude. Mrs. Nericcio makes them feel as though they were in kindergarten, or worse, as though she were the babysitter and had to please them and praise them all the time.

She is accessible outside class, she is caring, she is an easy grader, lots of fun, almost no work, just show up and smile and you will raise your GPA for nothing. But she has preferential class assignments because Dr. Nericcio does part of the work from the English department.

So easy going. Just go to class because participation matters. Lectures are easy, quizzes are straightforward, accepts late work most of the time, very understanding, responds quickly to emails, and overall a good teacher. Funny and entertaining. Wish I could take her again this semester but schedule conflicts :(

Rosalinda is super sweet and funny. Her quizes are very easy and she tells you exactly what's going to be on them. Get worksheets for homework often but they are very easy and don't take much time at all.

She is really kind and almost motherly to her students. Her tests are fairly easy if your decent at spanish. Some topics can be a little confusing the way she explains them but she does try to help as best she can. Attendance and participation is necessary; she used note cards with names on them to pick students for questions.

Worst teacher ever. I'm serious do not take her. She's just a person not meant to be a teacher. She expects you to know material that we are learning. She's scattered and doesn't not provide any real explanations or ways to understand words and sentence structure.

Professor Nericcio is the best! She really ensures that you understand the concepts and requires participation in class. There were few quizzes (easy ones), two written components, an oral exam (easy as she supplies you with guidance), a midterm, and a final. She is also the coordinator for 102 and 201 so she makes the tests. Taking her for 201!

This class is definitely hard if you haven't taken Spanish 102, or your high school Spanish experience was less than stellar, but over time it gets easier as you catch up. Got a B, for sure thought I was going to get a D at the beginning of the semester. Just requires catching up and dedication.

Haven't taken Spanish since high school, so this class was hard, especially since the teacher's teaching was scattered, not clear-cut. It was more of a go-with-the-flow kind of learning and research on your own. LOTS of quizzes, like every 2 weeks, and sometimes she'll give you something big to memorize the day right before a test. Cuidado!

Professor Nericcio is an amazing teacher. To be honest, I struggled more than others in this class, but she listened and did everything she could to help me succeed. She really cares about her students and if you are taking Spanish for 101, 102, 201 I highly recommend her.

Found class to be relatively easy, even though it had been over 5 years since I took a Spanish course. She has a great personality and makes class out of the ordinary and gets you to practice and participate. Online HW's are really not helpful; concentrate more on her lecture notes and quizzes for exams. Got an A; highly recommend

I had her for 102 and MADE SURE I took her for 201. If I didn't have her as my professor, I'm not sure I would have made it through. She is an awesome teacher, extremely nice and has a teaching style that caters to us non-native speakers. She tells you everything you need to know for the tests, so if you use it, you'll pass for sure.

Super nice lady. dreaded the thought of more spanish but no fear-mrs. nericcio is here. Hadn't taken spanish in forever (forgot everything) and still passed. Highly recommended. She tells you everything that will be on tests/finals/quiz so there is no excuse not to pass. most bubbly teacher ive ever had at state.
