This class is not as hard as everyone makes it seem. Overall the material is not that difficult, you must just be prepared to be held strictly accountable for all material. She will push you to learn quickly... the key is to show her you take it seriously (office hours!). 3-5 page weekly papers are not that bad, she even writes her own textbook

Great Class. All the finance professors at this school are amazing. She is very hard and you must be at every class and do all the work or she will call you out and lower your grade. 3-5 page paper every week on Wallstreet journal and one large 20 minute presentation. You will learn more in this class than pretty much any other in the department.

So incredibly hard. The FYS was harder than chemistry and engineering together. Biggest hard-ass you will ever meet, but incredibly helpful and caring, and a great teacher. She really wants you to learn the material and be successful, but you'll have to put in a ton of effort and time.

By far one of the best teachers I've ever had and actually made me appreciate her class for its educational purpose instead of just the grade - if you're willing to put in the work you will definitely not regret taking this class regardless of your grade- also she is an amazing lady in general

Lots of work. The materials aren't too difficult. Lots of help when needed. You'll learn a significant amount of new and useful knowledge. If you have an interview with an alum, 75% they will ask you "have u taken Bukics's class?". The sweetest professor I have met, a shoulder to cry on if you are desperate with school, even with personal issues.

There is a large amount of work, but most of it is not extremely challenging, there is just a lot of stuff to do. The tests are pretty hard, you will have to study. But, she is an extremely good teacher and you will learn a lot from this class. The class is definitely worth taking, but only if you're willing to put up with a little more work.

Really hard professor, but really good and always real helpful. You will learn a lot in her class that will help you with every class. I would recommend taking her, but be prepared to work hard. You'll appreciate her a lot when the semester is over.
