I took this class when both Dr. A and White were teaching it in fall... Dr. A was a gem but I legit skipped class whenever white taught & just went to the si leader's sessions instead. best decision!! dragged myself from a C to an A. self-study to the max and aced tests once i got the hang of it. i swear its a serious over-hype in difficulty...

It's important that you go to class, as much as you're tempted to skip. I can't stress enough to GO TO SI SESSIONS AND USE ALL THE RESOURCES GIVEN TO YOU! There is so much there that is meant to help you get the grade you want; USE IT! Don't let the class intimidate you. I went from a D to an A due to hard work. Anyone can do it.

Such a sweet lady, but she only reads off the slides. Only went to class on days she gave extra credit. Do not get the book. Everything you need is on the powerpoints. Memorize every single detail. Tests were hard, but you can get an A if you work for it. Lab is super fun and helps your grade a ton so don't sleep on it. Good luck!

Everything is in the slides, you don't really need to go to lecture, just read the book at home & go back over the slides. Recite it back to yourself, teach your friend a topic, look at it once everyday & you should get an A. Super interesting material to learn & Lab is a lot of fun! She also curves an insane amount.

By far the worst class I have ever taken. Her exams are so ridiculously hard, the averages were in the 60s and that was a minimum of a 12 point curve. The second exam there was a 22 point curve and everyone still failed it. You MUST read her power points and if you want to pass you better remember word for word all 100+ slides on each power point.

I put down inspirational because this class has inspired me to possibly drop out of college and choose some other career. You need to start studying for her exams at least 5 years in advance if you possibly want to get a C. The bright side is she curves the test 10-15 points and later curves the overall grade. Would never take again.

Dr. White is an extremely sweet lady but this class is absolutely ridiculous! Lecture exams are solely based off the PowerPoints but you must know every word on it. Huge curve at the end and extra credit is also given. The end grade is also combined with lab.

Very nice lady but mediocre lecturer. Reads directly and slowly from PowerPoints. Swaps out lectures with Dr. Ambivero, who lectures at a break-neck pace, so it's a nice change of pace. Don't ask questions in class, she's understandably hard of hearing and will go on an unrelated tangent before you finish asking. Tests are HARD but does curve.

White is a kind person but honestly her exams are ridiculous. I found myself sacrificing so much for this class and no matter what I did (SARC, extra study guides, etc) I continously did horrible on the exams. The powerpoints are read off of in class and if it weren't for the curve (typical UCF) this class would be impossible.

This professor is very nice and wants you to pass, but her lectures are confusing and she makes a lot of mistakes. They contradict themselves and are word heavy. She insists tests are only on material covered in class but test 2 was not on anything that was covered in class or in the textbook, I don't know where the questions came from.

Dr. White is friendly, funny, mega smart. however, bad teacher. the final avg was 40. Her tests are not difficult, they are a LOTTERY. I created an RNG that scored 6pts lower than class avg. either you memorize (literally) her slides or don't study at all. Partial study will HURT you. BUT, huge curve. Even with 50s you'll probably pass

The important thing is to stay above the average on tests. Memorize powerpoints, record lectures, read the book for extra help, that can be the difference between your grade and others. Curves all the exam and overall grade. Offers extra credit for coming to class. It honestly wasnt a nightmare, just put in the work and youll get the grade you want

White has been one of the best Professors ever. The material is dense and you have to read and reread and memorize the power points for the exams. She curves every exam and the class grading scale over all. There is no way to fail unless you literally don't study and do terrible in lab. Study for the practical and lab midterm !!!!

Honestly just avoid or take it at a community college. I would study a week in advanced for her exams and the highest grade I got was a 72. Tests are extremely difficult. She puts select all that apply. A lot of A and B and All of the above answers.

Her test are extremely difficult! Lots of trick questions and select all that apply questions. She does curve the tests and give extra credit though. She's nice & knowledgeable, just very tough. Passable but you will work for it. Luckily the lab portion is easy and actually fun plus helps boost your grade.

Her test questions are really hard, not many straight foward questions. The lab portion is not that hard. Gives curves like 10%

She showed up to class to teach 3 chapters worth of her material in one class. We never saw her again. We sent emails for information on what from her section would be on her exam, no response.

She is a really nice professor but the class itself is time-consuming. Memorize the bold points in her ppt. The test questions are tough to understand and be prepared for "select all that apply" questions. She also curves at the end and there is extra credit. The lab has a midterm and final practical and quizzes every lab! GOOD LUCK GUYS!!

I found organic chemistry easier than this class lol. I enjoyed it, I thought Dr. White was a great lecturer, but there is just so much information. MEMORIZE the power-points and record her lectures to listen to them after. Be prepared for lab, it will save you!! This class takes a lot of effort, try to do well in the beginning, there is a curve.
