Boyd is hilarious. He knows a lot and the material is interesting and real world applicable. He does misspeak and it gets a little confusing, but he will go over anything again. The first two weeks is always review. He's super helpful. The exams are easy if you go to class and take notes. He goes slowly and is willing to re-explain if you ask

Not a great prof actually pretty boring, but it sounds like his Econ 3050 is easier than others. Take him for that class. There is HW but he only checks for effort and it is gone over in class before its due. Easy.

Professor boyd covers a lot of material in class but he makes sure the students understand it. It isn't easy but he goes over it several times. The tests were challenging but fair and the out of class assinments made the material understandable.

Roy Boyd the most horrible professor ever. Literally. He was rude, unhelpful, unclear about anything, and didn't even know what he was lecturing about. Quite often he would mess up lectures in class, wasting our time. He doesn't follow the book in class until the test comes and there are many terms you've never heard of before. Dont take this class

Awesome course, tells you how non renewable resources are actually used in the world, got to learn things that let me prove stupid hippies wrong at parties which is awesome especially because i consider myself liberal and hippies a waste of space.

He is an ok professor. His jokes are humorous the 1st few times that you hear them. His stories are a bit outdated, but if you are an Elvis fan, then Boyd is your man. And remember, if there is one class that you don't wanna miss, it is his next class.

Roy Boyd was the most horrible professor ever. He was boring, unfriendly, and unclear. And whenever I went to his office for clarification, he was either never there, or just rude. Do not take his class.

I had fun in Boyds class. You come when you want to, you don't have to listen to what he says because its mostly confusing and irrelevant anyway(almost all graphs), but listening to the Spanish version of Shakira every single morning for the entire quarter was****ty.

His class is OK, but he spends most of the time standing there with his arms crossed, waiting for a room full of 400+ people to be absolutly quiet. And most of what he lectures on if his jobs, which gets VERY boring after about the 100th time!

Prof Boyd definitely does not make economics easy to understand at all. When asked to explain a concept again, he will explain it in the exact same way, not helping. Dont ask him for help, he'll send you to the grad students or to the SI sessions. He blasts Spanish music throughout.
