Dr. Wylie, while being a very talented musicians, definitely has his favorites. No matter how much or hard you practice, it takes alot to impress him. I just wish Auburn offered another piano teacher option.

WOnderful teacher. I learned so much from him. His piano class is hard if you don't practice every day for about 10 minutes. If you mess up once he grades harder so keep up with everything and you will be fine. Music skills he was also great. He helps with anything you need.

He's not a jerk & he's helpful if you try. He is a nice guy underneath his tough exterior.He's truly a MASTERMIND when it comes to the piano & musicality.He ought to be at Julliard, FSU or somewhere but we're lucky to have him at AU.Get him for a class if you can.You'll be a better musician for it.

well I apparently am doign pretty well in there with a B. The calss isn't hard but I have had piano before, everythign just goes so fast, and if you don't practice you WILL have problems. He has a kind of off the wall humor that most people think is stupid, but he's ok
