Mr. Ruben is an easy teacher, however pretty boring. Somehow I found the book was more helpful than him, his instructions were not clear. Study in the book and you ll be fine. He does give extra credit n make up quizzes. Easy to get B but didnt learn the whole lot from the class.

Mr. Abrica is a good professor, if you just follow the homework and the worksheets then you will do fine on the test. I was really struggling because of my poor learning in language but still passed me with a C i still thank him till this day.

Mr. Abrica is a great teacher with a ton of passion for what he does. His main goal is teaching his students if you persist and put in the time and effort there's no reason not to pass the class. Great teacher definitely taking his Spanish 2 class

Mr Abrica is a pretty good teach all around. His class is not too hard. There's hardly ever assigned homework, you just have to study the textbook / supersite on your own. He is always ready to answer all questions. Attendance is part of your grade. Quizzes and tests are from the Vista workbook.

I like him b/c he's a passionate professor. His classes does tend to be boring but the class is on the easy side. Lot of readings. The assignments/midterms are mostly writing essays. Not too hard for a class.

Ruben is a good instructor, but very boring.I felt like I was being treated like a child at times because he would put us in groups and number them on the chalkboard like it wasn't common sense to go with your group.Easy tests that are straight from the book.Easy grader, but very boring.

He was nice but very confusing on his assignments. I got an A for doing nothing. I skipped on a major assignment and still got my grade. Tests are based off worksheets. WORD FOR WORD. No joke.

Big mistake taking him for Spanish. I passed the class, but I learned nothing from him. Even though he's available outside class for questions-he's horrible @ answering them. He makes many grammatical errors. Ex, he'd leave off most accent marks in lectures. He's very impatient, & didn't check our hw. Had to rely on classmates to check our work.

3 books needed. Assigns lots of papers! Class is overwhelming! Think I did 6 papers already, one in class presentation, had 2 exam essays in class. I'm not even done w/ my quarter yet! Honestly, this class was common knowledge, nothing new and nothing old. The professor bases his lectures on his own experiences, which is fine, but sometimes he goes on and on. I personally had no interest in the class, so saying that the class was boring would oppose your opinions, but yeah, take this class if you can take the boredom. Easy class

The textbook is only required in that you use it to prepare for the midterm essay questions. Essay questions are given a few days to a week in advance so you can prepare for it. You don't have to attend class all the time, but there are mini group presentations throughout the quarter. He's a very nice professor. Material can be interesting.
