Dr. Clark is outstandingly intelligent. If you know the material before the lecture, everything he says is spot on. However, because he knows the material so well, the lecture sometimes goes over one's head if it's the first time one is introduced to the material. Make sure you attend when he is going over homework problems. Tough, but fair.

Since he's the only professor that teaches digital circuits right now you do not have a choice. The tests are super long and you have 1 hour 30 minutes to take the test. All the tests are super curved. Go to his office and he will help you out. No extra credit is offered.

His lectures are dry and hard to pay attention to. Tough grader, doing the homework helps because his test problems are usually from the book. Also had for ECE368 during the Spring, absolutely avoid if you can. He doesn't introduce any labs, just expects you to know how to do them. Got an A in 302 because of the curve, but a B in 368.

No passion in material or whether the class is all on their phones/participating in lecture. A lot of material doesn't make it to the exams but, some random things slip through. If you read the textbook and master the material you'll be okay. Expect curveballs. Hard to fail and learn. Lastly, he comes off as rude.

Great professor. He is pretty easy-going and will answer all questions. He does use powerpoints a lot, but he explicitly mentioned that he reads these reviews and he went out of his way to do a lot of examples. There is a review day before every test as well. The tests are pretty tough, but there is nothing that was not covered on the review day.

You'll learn more from your previous math class diffy eq to be exact. A few of the chapters are completely pointless and a time waster and the actual useful chapters for the major are done in a week and he expects you to take your final on it of 2 classes of lecture on it. Hopefully you paid attention in your other math classes cuz your on you own.

His method of teaching is strictly powerpoints. For a class that is math-intensive, you can't teach using a powerpoint. Most people are so lost that they don't even know how to ask their question. Averages on every test sat around 40-50%. Boring lectures, attendence not mandatory. I was better off not going to class and reading the book instead.

Was very disapointed! Mostly review, but the new material was presented poorly. Teacher made continuous mistakes in presentation's examples which made for many 2 hour incomprehensible lectures. He needs to slow down while focusing on objectives to make the lecture more consice. Planing & Preperation are needed for teaching upperlevel courses!

Dr. Clark was really nice to me even while I was not doing too well in his class. He was always very respectful of people regardless of your immigration status. I was definitely not one of his best students but I never felt disrespected. He was quite an easy-going professor.
