Dr. Edmunds is an amazing professor. He has so much knowledge and makes his lectures very interesting, like a story. However, I do not recommend to skip his class because what he talks about in lectures is what is going to be on the exams. He is very sweet and will make sure you are getting your money's worth.

great professor with SO MUCH KNOWLEDGE!! but omg his exams are killer. His exam is 10 IDs and 1 essay. He grades easy on his essay but HIS IDS are graded very strictly. Be sure to ask if you can record his lectures so you can relisten and study otherwise you will NOT get all the information you need just from a 1 time listen in class.

Loved him! He made the class so interesting and the test were pretty easy. Just write down what he writes on the board and skim the readings and you'll be fine!

i am not a fan of reading or history, but i loved this class. Prof was so interesting and entertaining. he wrote all the ID's on the board and that was what much of the test was over. i would recommend you bring a laptop to take notes if possible, because he just flies through the topics.

very detailed in his lectures. not much room to participate from students point of view, but at the same time, he is so entertaining, and actually made me excited about attending a history class. grades are based on tests, which are mainly definitions and one essay. i recommend going to class, especially if you do not read much prior to it

If you come to class every day, and take notes, especially what he writes on the board, the tests will be easy. The class is mainly him lecturing with three tests.

Really easy teacher. The class structure is simple, with three tests and lectures in between. The tests are one essay + vocabulary. His TA gives 100's to just about anyone who can write some facts down, making this class an easy A.

I'm not really into History. I actually find the subject to be boring, but Dr.Edmunds actually kept my attention. He really knows what he's talking about and makes it interesting. Make sure you know everything he writes on the board and read all of the books. My class had 3 and material came from all 3 but the information was general not specific.

I highly recommend him if you are interested in history but be prepared to take good notes. His tests are all short answer and essay and he expects you to be very specific. If he writes a term on the board, know everything about it! Also read ALL handouts and textbook readings. Know places, people and terms in detail!

Two reviews midway and end of semester about 500 words, two exams and a final all essay and 10 id's on each, final essay is comprehensive except for id's, two short movies. I recommend this professor.

AMAZING! He knows his stuff! His great personality keeps the lectures entertaining. Although he doesn't take attendance, all of his tests questions come from the notes, so don't miss class. His tests are essay style and very easy. Stay awake and pay attention and an A will be in your future.

AWESOME Class. Hearing his lectures made me LOVE history. Don't skip tho, or you'll be screwed without lectures notes cuz that's what his exams are based off of. He gives you IDs to hint as to what's important to study. Textbook was quite unnecessary.

I really enjoyed this class. As a history major I am used to kind of dull lectures that are filled with a bunch of facts, but nothing that really grabs your attention. This professor put fun stories into all of his lectures and worked hard to engage the class into what he was discussing. Very easy to do well in as long as you attend class regularly

Awesome and interesting class taught by a knowledgeable professor. Edmunds is an expert in Native American History and Native American as well. Attendance in class a must, but class is always interesting. Exams are all IDs and one essay and you must know your stuff-especially the tribe the person belongs to. Overall a great class to take!!!

Best history class I have ever taken. This guy is a great storyteller, and he made history a lot more interesting than the other professors I've had. This is definitely a class where you take notes. A lot of the assigned reading is actually quite interesting.

Disorganized, not always prepared for class, rambled, although good content. Syllabus did not match the course description, not sure about the goals of the class. LOTS OF HANDOUTS. Majority Class waited over an hour for Prof to meet at site in Ft. Worth.
